The Mitel 3300 and 5000 platform is a full IP Phone system and as such, all system upgrades are software based. Many of these software updates introduce new and enhanced features and therefore are chargeable. So in order to keep up with the latest technology and to ensure your business maintains a competitive edge in terms of communications it is crucial to keep up with these software updates.In short, enrolling on the Mitel Software Assurance scheme allows for all year round software updates at a fixed cost as opposed to purchasing individual updates throughout the year.

(subject to coverage type)Are there any discounts if I commit to a longer term?
Mitel Software Assurance is available on a 1, 2, and 4 year contract, and as you would expect there are incentives for longer term contracts. If you agree to a 2 year agreement you will receive a 10% discount from the annual premium, this would be extended to a 20% discount for a 4 year agreement.
